The Federation of Chemistry and Parachemistry (FCP) participated in a regional conference held in Tunis on 24 and 25 September 2026, focusing on chemical safety and systems for monitoring chemical products.

The FCP was represented by Ms Zahira IMTAZ of SCE Chemicals and Mr Said OUTALMOUT of SNEP. Their participation reflects the Federation’s commitment to staying engaged with matters concerning safety and the responsibilities of industry stakeholders.

The presentations covered, in particular, the classification of certain chemicals, declaration and verification procedures, and the protection of confidential information. These topics underline the importance of rigorous practices and a sound understanding of the requirements applicable to the sector.

The regional conference provided an opportunity to share experiences and strengthen dialogue among stakeholders in support of a responsible and safe chemical industry.
