1. Disseminate the ethics of good practices

Companies work closely with their national chemical product associations, business partners, and ICCA to actively strengthen and disseminate the ethics of Responsible Care within companies.

All signatories of the Responsible Care global charter “ANNEX 2” commit to continuously improving their performance and informing the Responsible Care pilot of their progress. Companies collect and communicate data for a set of environmental, health, and safety performance measures HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).

2. Reporting and performance enhancement

A request is made to each member of “Responsible Care” to collect performance indicators each year. This request takes the form of a one-page table to measure the evolution of key parameters:

• ACCIDENT RATE
• ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION
• ENERGY CONSUMPTION
• WATER CONSUMPTION
• TOTAL SOLID WASTE
• ANNUAL PRODUCTION

Respect for anonymity: These parameters are then consolidated into a single table by replacing the company's name with a number or code to ensure strict confidentiality of the data of member companies.
